Soul Contract vs the Identity You Were Given in This Life
Identity starts forming long before anyone asks for our consent. Parents, extended family, school, the circle of friends we happen to fall into, mass media, the written and unwritten norms of the society we are born into. Layer by layer these settle into the subconscious mind and into the soul itself, and at a certain point they begin to govern the person. They govern above intelligence, above accumulated life experience, above natural temperament. A person can be highly capable and still spend four decades running instructions that were installed before the age of seven.
I have been working with souls and with spirits and entities without a body for more than twenty-five years. The split I want to write about here is the one I meet most often in my sessions. It is the distance between who the soul is and who the person has become.
In my own work I call the plan a soul makes before entering a body the agenda of the soul. Most people who come to me use another name for the same thing and call it a soul contract. The name matters less than what sits inside it, which is the set of lessons, missions and relationships a soul arranged for this particular life while it was still fully aware of what it needed.
What the soul brings with it
The soul does not arrive empty. It comes with attributes that belong to its own nature, and with everything it has gathered across a long line of previous lives.
From conversations with souls after the death of the body, and with spirits without a body, I have found that souls differ from one another in ways that have nothing to do with the current personality. For instance, some souls are more masculine in structure, others more feminine. Some are naturally altruistic, others still work with a strong self-orientation. Souls also carry abilities that come from their inherent specialization and from the particular lives they have lived.
When a soul occupies itself with the same field life after life, mathematics, physics, astronomy, art, entrepreneurship, the result is what anyone would expect. After five lives spent inside the same discipline, that soul is very good at it and holds a real advantage over someone approaching the same activity for the first time. What matters is that the specialization gives the soul the chance to follow the life lessons written into its soul contract before incarnating. Ability on its own is not the point. Ability that carries a lesson is.
What I found when I looked at Einstein and Tesla
As an example, the famous A. Einstein was not living his first life as a physicist. Following his line of previous lives as far as I could see, he had worked as a physicist and researcher in this field for around fifteen lives before the one we know. A large part of those lives were spent in civilizations far more advanced technologically than ours, even where the general vibration was close to the human one. He also did physics in civilizations of much higher vibration, and several of those I found in 5D. Einstein himself, measured as a soul, I found at 5D, well above the 3D average of the ordinary souls of our civilization.
Nikola Tesla is another example of a great physicist, with a line of past lives very similar to Einstein's. At soul level I found Tesla even higher, in 7D, which places him at the level of enlightenment of Buddha and Jesus.
These are my own readings rather than history. I give them the way I read their soul vibration, and every reader is free to weigh them.
When the person and the soul identity do not match
I could give thousands of examples of souls that arrive here with a clear soul identity and then change it once they get embodied on this planet. The factors I listed at the beginning, the ones coming from family and society, cover the organic identity of the soul and often modify it at a fundamental level.
I have known people during their lives and later contacted their souls after death. What surprised me repeatedly was how different the personality of the person often was in life from the nature of the soul underneath it. For me that is direct evidence that the identity acquired as a person can completely overwrite the natural identity of the soul.
The practical version of this shows up in ordinary decisions. Someone builds a career that everyone around them approves of and feels heavier every year inside a life that looks correct from the outside. Someone else keeps choosing partners who match a family pattern rather than anything their own soul asked for. The person is not making mistakes out of weakness. The person is executing an identity that was assembled by other people.
Your soul contract is written on the structure of the soul
Here is where the difficulty starts. The soul contract for a lifetime is built mostly on the structure of the soul, not on the future personality that will form during that life.
When the agenda for a life is designed, certain variations are taken into account. Human influence is expected and a margin is left for it. What cannot be accounted for are the large and very large deviations.
By large deviations I mean a life that goes into addiction, crime, deep depression, dependency on substances of every kind, obsessive patterns and similar states.
Take a soul whose mission was to work as a travel agent, serving people separated by great distances so they could travel, meet one another and widen their horizon, along with other tasks in the same direction. Walking that mission gives the soul every chance to learn what it came for: care for others, the ability to plan, a balance between exploration and beauty, love for nature and for people, tolerance. If the person falls into the extreme situations above, that mission cannot be carried out, or is carried out so partially that the soul gains very little from the whole life.
What happened is that the person lost the identity of the soul and took on a foreign one. That foreign identity is built mainly from the social norms of the population he belongs to, norms that sit in the collective subconscious, plus the individual problems he could not manage after losing control somewhere along the way. In simpler words, he attached himself too much to the body and lost the connection with his own soul.
I want to be plain about one part of this. Addiction, depression and the heavy states I described belong first to medicine and psychotherapy. Anyone in that situation needs proper medical and psychological care, and spiritual work sits next to that care rather than in place of it. I never treat a reading or a clearing session as a replacement for treatment.
Alignment sits at around 8%
Doing spiritual measurements over the years, I found the worldwide average alignment of an adult with the optimal path of their life, meaning the path written in their soul contract, at just approximately 8%.
That is very little. It is also the reason we have to come back life after life. The average learning efficiency of one lifetime is too low for a single pass to be enough. This deviation from the path of the soul is what religions have been also describing all along, in the older language proper to the time when the sacred books were written.
The cause is an identity built on limiting beliefs
The deviation comes from assuming another identity, and that identity rests on a set of limiting beliefs held in the subconscious mind.
This is why the final target of any spiritual practice, whether it is a religion or a spiritual school, has to be the recovery of the divine identity of the soul. That recovery happens only by shaking off the identity acquired during life, mostly in the first years, which is based on beliefs of low vibration, meaning 3D beliefs. What I am describing is actually the acquired Ego.
Every enlightened master of the past reached enlightenment by transcending the human identity and returning to the divine identity of the soul. They did it by clearing themselves of the low vibration beliefs sitting in their subconscious mind and rising from there toward enlightenment.
How to tell which identity is speaking
There are signs that a client can read without any training. A decision that satisfies everyone around you and leaves you flat is usually the acquired identity speaking. An ambition you have carried since childhood that you have never questioned is worth examining, because it often belongs to a parent. Work that drains you while you perform it competently points in the same direction, since the soul does not usually run out of energy for what it came here to do.
The opposite signal is quieter. There are activities that restore you while you are doing them, and they tend to be the ones connected to the specialization the soul brought with it. Most people dismiss these as hobbies. In my experience they are closer to the original agenda than the career is.
This is available inside one lifetime
The work is available to anyone within a single life. It asks for a certain amount of effort applied in the right direction, and for trust in the soul and in God.
In practice the direction is clear even when the work is not easy. A spiritual reading shows what the soul planned for this life and where the person has drifted from it, which is what most people are actually asking for when they look for a soul contract reading. A past life reading adds the line those abilities came from, and it usually explains a talent that never had an obvious source in the current life. A limiting beliefs release session takes the specific beliefs that hold the borrowed identity in place and clears them out of the subconscious mind.
Working with a spiritual coach keeps the process consistent over time, because a single session rarely resolves a structure that took decades to build. Where foreign energies or spirit attachments are involved, entity clearing removes what does not belong to the person, so that the deeper work can hold.
One more element belongs here, and it is the one people underestimate. Humbleness is the base of everything that exists and another expression of love toward other people. Without it the acquired identity simply rebuilds itself with better spiritual vocabulary, which is a state I have seen many times in people who have been on a path for years.
The measurement I trust most in this work is not a number. It is the moment a client tells me that something they have carried since childhood no longer sounds like their own voice. That is usually where the soul identity starts coming back.
